Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule:

PM - 12hr shift, 36hrs/week, Nights, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Hours:

36 hours/week

Requirements: MA License, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, 2 years of RN ICU experience, Telemetry experience, Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Roles & Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care in the ICU, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records, entering and interpreting computerized data. Follow nursing department guidelines and policies. Participate in quality improvement projects as needed.
