Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Brockton, MA

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a multi-specialty ICU setting, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage accurate patient records and enter and interpret computerized data and information.
• Adhere to all nursing department guidelines and established policies.
• Assist the leadership team with quality improvement projects as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience required.
• Nursing degree:
  Diploma, ASN, or BSN.
• Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and basic computer proficiency required.

• BSN degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a large, multi-specialty ICU environment.

• Work within a collaborative, dedicated nursing team in a 38-bed multi-specialty ICU, providing the highest quality of patient-centered care.
