Position Overview
The Roh Lab in the Massachusetts General Hospital Cardiovascular Research Center is recruiting a Post‑Doctoral Fellow to contribute to our American Heart Association Strategically Focused Research Network Center on pregnancy and cardiovascular‑kidney‑metabolic health. The fellow will conduct cell‑ and animal‑based experimental studies investigating the intersection of placental senescence, obesity, and cardiovascular disease—including extensive work with murine models, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic phenotyping, senescence biology, advanced molecular biology techniques, and multi‑omics.
Responsibilities- Conduct cell‑ and animal‑based studies on placental senescence, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.
- Perform extensive work with murine models and cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic phenotyping.
- Apply senescence biology, advanced molecular biology techniques, and multi‑omics approaches.
- Collaborate within the AHA SFRN Center on pregnancy and cardiovascular‑kidney‑metabolic health and with investigators in the national AHA SFRN network.
- PhD in a basic science discipline (required).
- Strong foundation in molecular biology, mouse models, and multi‑omics.
- Interest in women’s cardiovascular health and aging biology.
