Senior Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Scientist, Analytical Sciences (Contract) to join a growing Analytical Development team focused on next-generation RNA therapeutics.

This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on the characterization of RNA-based drug substances and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations
, with a strong emphasis on chromatographic and analytical method development. The successful candidate will support analytical testing across in-process, release, stability, and characterization workflows for both drug substance and drug product.

• Execute analytical testing strategies for RNA-based therapeutics and lipid nanoparticle formulations
• Develop, optimize, and run chromatography-based methods (HPLC/UPLC) for drug substance and drug product characterization
• Perform analytical characterization studies supporting in-process, release, and stability testing
• Support buildout of internal analytical capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams
• Review analytical method procedures, protocols, and technical reports
• Generate, analyze, and present high-quality data to support development decisions
• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative scientific environment

• BS/MS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC is required
• Experience with methods such as SEC, AEX, IP-RP chromatography strongly preferred
• Familiarity with LC-MS, DLS, CE, or spectrophotometry is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in analytical development or pharmaceutical R&D environments preferred
