Store Manager in Training

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development‑focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. Over a 16‑week period you will participate in self‑paced, collaborative training that includes both virtual and hands‑on learning experiences.

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Willingness to accept promotion roles within the designated market and at any location in that market.

• Excellent verbal and written communication to support and lead your team.
• Strong customer‑care skills to provide high levels of service.
• Ability to execute merchandising strategies that support store sales growth.
• Capability to manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

• High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor is required.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.

Anticipated weekly hours: 45.
Pay range: $18.50 – $23.88 per hour. Base salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
