Wiring Technician - Contract to Hire

A provider of automation solutions isseeking an Electronics Technician in Franklin, MA, known for its commitment to innovation and quality in the electronics industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values expertise and offers a dynamic work environment.

M-F 7am-3:30pm

$24/hr - $26.00/hr

• Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer requirements.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
• Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.
• Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.

• Minimum of a High School Education;
  Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.
• 2+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels is a must.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for long periods of time.
