What You'll Do:
- Provide critical support to Brockton Housing Authority (BHA) tenants at risk of losing housing due to age-related challenges or behavioral health needs:
- Assess tenant needs and design intervention strategies with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mediate disputes, provide short-term counseling, and link tenants to mental health/social services.
- Coordinate with BHA, DMH, and DPH to address lease violations and stabilize tenancies.
- Organize community education programs and support Tenant Associations.
- Maintain timely documentation and comply with all clinical and safety standards.
What You Bring:
- Education:
Bachelor's in human services (Master's in Social Work preferred) OR HS diploma/GED + substantial experience with elderly/special needs populations. - Skills:
Crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management expertise. - Requirements:
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and cultural sensitivity.
