Community Training Specialist (Direct Support Staff)

Brockton, MA 02301 – Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time – Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour – Travel: up to 25% – Shift: Any (Day & Evening)

We are seeking Community Training Specialists to support individuals with disabilities in promoting independence and quality of life. Candidates will work in residential programs with a variety of schedule options.

• Assist clients with completing personal hygiene and developing independence, responsibility, and self‑worth.
• Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, and treatment plans.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers.
• Help clients obtain appropriate health care services and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Facilitate participation in outdoor activities such as movies, dining, parks, and beaches.

• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Enjoyment of outdoor activities.
