Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: COMMUNITY SCHOOLS SUMMER 2026- AQUATICS INSTRUCTORS & LIFEGUARDS Swim/dive instructors and lifeguards are needed for the Aquatics 2026 Summer Program. Contingent upon funding and adequate enrollment, the Community Schools of Brockton will provide an array of enrichment and academic support programs for students at all grade levels. Most programs are scheduled to run Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 31, 2026.

Extended Day will run June 29-August 21, 2026,

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications required
2.Knowledge of and experience in swim/dive instruction necessary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Lead drills related to specific sports
2.Provide instruction for skill development related to swim/dive program
3.Monitor the safety and behavior of students
4.Must commit to work the entire length of the program and attend training
5.Other duties as directed by program supervisor All instructor positions begin 30 minutes before the start of the program and end 30 minutes after the program closure. All lifeguard positions begin 15 minutes before the start of the program and end 15 minutes after the program closure.
