Responsibilities
- Safely transport material from Everett's to Sims Metal Management.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for safety and mechanical issues.
- Weigh load prior to leaving.
- Collect weight tickets.
- Return to Everett's to get reloaded; complete 3 runs per day.
- Fuel truck at the end of the day.
- Preload truck for the following morning.
- Maintain clean truck at all times.
- Follow traffic and DOT regulations anytime on the road.
- Be willing to work flexible.
Work flexible schedule, including weekends.
Skillsets / Requirements- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid MA CDL license, DOT issued medical card, CORI check, and substance abuse test.
- Adherence to all policies in the employee handbook.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Sense of urgency in all work activities.
- Basic car knowledge.
- Basic computer skills.
