Driver# Driver Hot Job Nurse Care  Transportation - Methuen, MA 01844## Overview Salary Range $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Job Shift Day Education  Level High School/GED## Description Nurse Care  Transportation is actively seeking 10 experienced and dedicated Van Drivers for our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services. The role entails providing secure, timely, and compassionate transport for patients to and from medical, treatment, and ancillary appointments across various counties.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to safety, patient care, and exemplary customer service, aligning with our mission to facilitate access to essential healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure punctual, safe, and courteous transportation services for all patients, fostering a reliable and positive experience.
* Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, including the use of wheelchairs and securement devices, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
* Uphold the cleanliness and maintenance of the company vehicle, adhering to stringent standards and reporting any issues promptly.
* Maintain open and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers, particularly regarding schedule adjustments or updates.
* Adhere to federal and state regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles, ensuring patient safety, privacy, and security in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

* Minimum age requirement of 19 years.
* One Year Driving in New England a Must
* A High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Certification in CPR, or the ability to become certified.
* A clean driving record and proven navigational skills using GPS and maps.
* Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of patients, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
* High integrity, trustworthiness, and the capacity to work autonomously.
* At least 1-3 years of experience in a transportation role is preferred.
* Hours are between 6am and 6pm
* No more than 3 moving violations or 1 “at fault” accident within the past 3 years
* Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
* Provide superb customer service and skilled care
* Must portray an extremely positive company image and positive attitude to all personnel
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
* Must be able to speak and understand English.

* * Non-CDL drivers needed typically operating vehicles such as delivery trucks
