Materials Handler

Aya Healthcare -  - Responsibilities:
Receive, deliver, and restock hospital supplies to patient care areas and ancillary buildings;
Track incoming/outgoing items and verify against invoices and bills of lading;
Inspect shipments for damage or shortages and document findings;
Prepare materials for shipment and assist in loading/unloading trucks;
Distribute items to departments or store in stockroom; operate material handling equipment;
Conduct routine inventories and stock item counting;
Tag stock with prices/identifying information;
Sign for incoming shipments and issue materials per requests;
Fill orders and use hospital systems to process transactions;
Operate hospital-owned vehicle to transport specimens, equipment, and supplies safely
