Accounting Specialist
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (with full benefits)
Work Arrangement: Full-time in-office, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of accounts receivable, including receipt and accounting of all funds paid to the organization. This role involves tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues, maintaining the collections process daily, and applying customer payments to the correct accounts. The specialist will generate and maintain accurate aging reports while working to collect past‑due balances.
This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, excellent communication and time‑management skills, and a willingness to adapt to change.

Job Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience, Training, Knowledge:
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a related field preferred
- Proficient in accounting processes
Office Equipment and/or Software Knowledge
Required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- SAP B1 or similar ERP software
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company policies, strategies, values, quality system (SQS), and associate handbook
- Provide clear and concise answers to questions
- Prioritize well and handle obstacles and opportunities professionally

This job operates in a clerical office setting and involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical DemandsThe role is largely sedentary; some filing is required. This requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
