Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and light maintenance. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and supporting team tasks. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper vehicle operation, and teamwork.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and physical ability to perform duties in varying environmental conditions.
Key Skills & Duties:- Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
- Conduct oil changes and light vehicle maintenance
- Perform multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Drive vehicles safely and obey traffic laws
- Support team with additional tasks and follow safety protocols
