PositionSummary
The Proposal Coordinator supports the growth of Aetna membership by developing customer‑focused, strategically‑oriented proposal responses. The role ensures the quality and timeliness of RFPs, including responding to questionnaire components, supporting field sales in acquiring and retaining Aetna membership by creating customized solutions for plan sponsors, and coordinating follow‑up questions that showcase Aetna’s strengths.
Responsibilities- Develop, draft, and deliver timely, high‑quality RFP responses.
- Assist in sales strategy development and data request compliance.
- Coordinate responses to follow‑up questions and highlight Aetna’s differentiators.
- Maintain technical knowledge of all Aetna products and services.
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing demands, and exercise strong project management.
- 0–2 years of RFP project management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across business and external healthcare environments.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Enjoys a fast‑paced, team environment and adapts to changing priorities.
- Healthcare experience or knowledge.
- 3 years of RFP project management experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience).

The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 – $38.82 per hour (or equivalent annual salary). The base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
