Position Description
This position will be fully onsite at our Downtown Tulsa location. This posting will close on December 17th.
What You Will Do- Oversee activities related to planning and procurement of materials for operations and corporate functions by negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts and long‑term contracts with suppliers.
- Oversee the processing of requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods.
- Oversee day‑to‑day activities of material planning, sourcing and procurement.
- Ensure materials are successfully procured to operations and corporate customers.
- Ensure compliance with supplier diversity, policies and procedures, and Sarbanes‑Oxley.
- Provide information and assistance with developing demand planning and sourcing strategies.
- Develop material plans in alignment with operational plans designed to maximize the company’s purchasing power.
- Research, compile, and prepare reports for spend analysis, vendor performance, freight management, requisition‑to‑PO turnaround time, and procurement, receipt and invoice processing.
- Identify opportunities to standardize materials and designs in collaboration with management.
- Oversee vendor sourcing, bidding, negotiating, and awarding processes.
- Provide oversight to management and employees regarding purchasing and materials procedures and procurement of goods and services.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
- Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop information, conduct meetings, and make presentations.
- Experience in operations and/or knowledge of materials in gas utility industry.
- Demonstrated ability managing business and financial strategies.
- Working knowledge defining and developing strategies and process improvements.
- Experience in use and function of office equipment, including computers and applicable software.
- Experience training and providing direction to others.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning, purchasing and materials management.
- Experience monitoring, assessing, and prioritizing material supply operations.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Minimum applicable driver’s license.
- Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
- Sufficient to perform job duties.
