Administrative Specialist – Division of Behavioral Health, Lincoln Regional Center – Whitehall Campus
Location:
Lincoln, NE
Hiring Rate: $19.94 per hour, 1st Shift.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and implement administrative operations and work assignments
- Coordinate office workflows, schedules, and support activities
- Interpret and explain policies, procedures, and regulations to employees and the public
- Conduct research, surveys, and data analysis to support program planning and evaluation
- Prepare reports, findings, recommendations, and operational summaries
- Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements
- Draft and revise policies and procedures as laws or regulations change
- Monitor compliance with agency goals, procedures, and administrative requirements
- Represent leadership in meetings, task forces, and interagency collaborations
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of post‑high‑school coursework or experience in administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields.
- Experience or coursework in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.
- Experience in insurance processes and any experience with Avatar software.
