Administrative Specialist – Division of Behavioral Health, Lincoln Regional Center – Whitehall Campus

Location:

Lincoln, NE

Hiring Rate: $19.94 per hour, 1st Shift.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and implement administrative operations and work assignments
  • Coordinate office workflows, schedules, and support activities
  • Interpret and explain policies, procedures, and regulations to employees and the public
  • Conduct research, surveys, and data analysis to support program planning and evaluation
  • Prepare reports, findings, recommendations, and operational summaries
  • Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements
  • Draft and revise policies and procedures as laws or regulations change
  • Monitor compliance with agency goals, procedures, and administrative requirements
  • Represent leadership in meetings, task forces, and interagency collaborations
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least one year of post‑high‑school coursework or experience in administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields.
  • Experience or coursework in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in insurance processes and any experience with Avatar software.
