Job Description & How to Apply Below

Artform designs, engineers, manufactures, and installs high-performance architectural metal systems, custom fabricated features, and large-scale public art. Our capabilities include Forma architectural composite material systems, Reveal single-skin panels, Board Ft extruded aluminum, Screen wall systems, solid Plate, custom metal fabrication, illuminated features, and complex artist-driven work. We work directly with architects, artists, owners, developers, general contractors, and construction managers to translate ambitious design intent into buildable, durable, precisely executed work.

Artform connects design, engineering, preconstruction, manufacturing, finishing, and field installation through one coordinated organization

Artform is seeking a senior project manager to take ownership of complex architectural fabrication projects from award through final installation. Increased contract volume across architectural metal systems, custom fabrication, and public art has created the need for additional senior project leadership within Artform’s project management team.

This person will carry full accountability for schedule, scope, budget, and coordination on assigned projects, typically managing multiple concurrent projects in the $500,000 to $3 million range, and will serve as Artform’s single point of accountability to the owner, architect, general contractor, and construction manager. The strongest candidate is an experienced project manager who understands how complex architectural and construction projects are designed, engineered, fabricated, delivered, and installed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project kickoff and turnover from preconstruction, confirming scope, contract terms, budget, schedule, submittal requirements, and success criteria with the internal team.
  • Own the project schedule in Smartsheet as the authoritative record for active work, maintaining milestone dates, dependencies, and float visibility across every department.
  • Manage project documentation and correspondence in Procore, including requests for information, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Read drawings, specifications, details, finish schedules, and addenda well enough to confirm scope, identify gaps, and protect Artform’s contractual and commercial position.
  • Coordinate with production management to sequence work through the shop in alignment with field need dates.
  • Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, billing milestones, and change-order pricing with accounting and preconstruction.
  • Lead client and general contractor coordination meetings, deliver accurate external status reporting, and elevate issues with a recommended course of action.
  • Coordinate logistics, delivery sequencing, and packaging requirements so that material arrives on site in installation order.
  • Support field services through installation planning, site coordination, and punch resolution, then carry the project through closeout, including final documentation, warranty packages, and a lessons-learned review that improves subsequent projects.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide credible internal reporting on schedule, cost, and project health.
Qualifications
  • Seven or more years of project management experience in commercial construction, specialty construction, architectural products, building-envelope systems, or custom fabrication
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-million dollar projects through fabrication, delivery, and installation.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, details, and finish schedules with confidence.
  • Strong knowledge of plan/spec, negotiated, design-build, and design-assist delivery environments.
  • Strong command of scheduling, budgeting, cost forecasting, change management, and trade coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation ability, organization, listening, and follow-through.
  • Architectural metal, cladding, curtain wall, custom fabrication, public art, or complex building-envelope experience is strongly preferred.
  • Oklahoma City base required. Valid driver’s license and regional or national travel are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
