We are seeking a highly organized and flexible Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role combines administrative support with occasional classroom responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations in both areas. - Manage and maintain child files with confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with family tours and guide prospective families through the enrollment process
- Support administration of the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program), ensuring compliance with program requirements
- Assist with office tasks, including filing and organization
- Support daily operations and help maintain a welcoming environment.
- Provide breaks and support for teachers as needed throughout the day
- Assist in classrooms during transitions and other high-need periods
- Greet and communicate with parents, families, children, and staff
- Conduct tours for prospective families
- Maintain clear, professional communication in a warm and supportive manner.
- Comfortable working in a classroom environment when needed
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a variety of administrative and childcare-related duties
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) a plus
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.
- Must meet state specific guidelines for a Master Teacher or in process of obtaining qualifications.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Employment Type:
Part-Time
Compensation: $15 hourly
There are applicable state licensing requirements for the role.
