Professionalism & Ethics - Adjunct Position for Graduate Program

The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invites applications for a part‑time adjunct position serving the counseling program. The successful candidate should have expertise and the ability to teach a graduate course in Professionalism & Ethics. While our department offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow, and Muskogee, this position will be based on the Broken Arrow campus with applicants expected to teach face‑to‑face in the classroom.

• Teach Professionalism & Ethics and any additional graduate courses in counseling as determined by departmental need.
• Develop course materials and teach assigned courses within the curriculum.
• Integrate technology into all course delivery, including face-to-face classes.

Previous experience teaching counseling at the graduate level is preferred.

• PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision
• PhD in PsyD in Psychology
• Master's degree in Counseling with an LPC‑S License

$800/Credit hour

Fall 2026

The Department of Psychology and Counseling is housed in the College of Education and is comprised of twenty‑three (23) full‑time faculty members serving an undergraduate program in psychology and a graduate program in counseling. The faculty represents a diverse group of professional educators and we embrace and celebrate this diversity within our department. We are one of the largest departments at NSU in terms of the number of faculty and students, both undergraduate and graduate.
