Qualifications:
- Active national or state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, EIPA, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Prior experience providing interpretation in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to serving students with professionalism and sensitivity
- Facilitate clear, accurate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and staff
- Interpret classroom instruction, meetings, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
- Support teachers and students to ensure accessible learning environments
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
