Campus Intervention Specialist
Coordinates campus-level assessment, Section 504, and student intervention processes. Ensures effective implementation and monitoring of RTI/MTSS systems, assessment programs, and student support services to promote student success.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate the multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes on campus.
- Train staff in RTI/MTSS procedures and intervention strategies.
- Assist in identifying students in need of academic or behavioral intervention.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings related to interventions, assessments, and student support services.
- Maintain required documentation and ensure integrity of intervention processes, assessment procedures, and timelines.
- Monitor implementation and fidelity of intervention strategies.
- Coordinate Reading Sufficiency Act (RSA) processes and required documentation.
- Coordinate all district assessments, including training, distribution, administration, scoring, and follow-up processes.
- Coordinate national assessments (e.g., CogAT, NAEP) including administration and reporting.
- Coordinate all aspects of state assessments including training, secure materials handling, accommodations, demographic accuracy, and score reporting.
- Serve as campus contact and trainer for assessment-related software programs (e.g., STAR, Imagine Learning, Waterford).
- Coordinate and lead the campus grade retention process.
- Attend district meetings and collaborate with district staff to ensure consistency in assessment, RTI/MTSS, Section 504, and special education referral processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent or district administration.

Attendance Statement:
Able to be in attendance for assigned responsibilities with 95% attendance.
Environmental Conditions:
Primarily inside working conditions; some exposure to environmental conditions may be required.
Physical Standards:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit at a desk or in meetings for long periods; travel to school sites; and using keyboarding skills, work on a computer for long periods. Occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
