- Is responsible for the overall supervision, classroom management, and daily class functions of a group of children in all classrooms.
- Passionately believes in and can communicate all aspects of the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach curriculum to teaching and learning in implementing the lesson plan and schedule.
- Coordinates with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff according to classroom-specific Continual Learning Guides
- Conducts classroom informal observations to support and ensure Balanced Learning® curriculum implementation and delivery regularly
- Supports teachers by modeling, side-by-side coaching, and/or feedback.
- Collaborates with other members of the Leadership Team to provide ongoing feedback for teaching staff, using a variety of tools such as Classroom Observation Forms and Teacher Evaluations
- Works with teachers to identify strengths and areas of opportunity to design plans for continual improvement
- Creates a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves
- As needed, assist as a substitute teacher or a breaker
- Coordinate the mentorship program
- Assist with job responsibilities and duties as determined by the Director
- A CDA, COM, Associate's, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program or early education school
- Approved Entry-Level Child Care Training (ELCCT) listed on the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) website prior to employment
- CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep in the infant room are required or obtained during employment
- Master teacher level 3 ((Oklahoma Competency Certificate) or above required
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and advice to others
- Solution and detail-oriented
