DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe College of Extended Learning at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level classes, online, day and/or evening classes in Criminal Justice at the Broken Arrow campus. Previous teaching experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Teaching courses in Criminal Justice.
- Student advising.
- University service.
- Scholarly contributions.
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology or related field is preferred. Master's degree required. ABD will be considered. Related experience will also be considered.
EXPERIENCE- Prior teaching experience, with a preference for candidates with classroom and online teaching experience.
- Experience with various forms of academic technology.
- Experience with community outreach.
- Experience in scholarly research & writing; or a willingness to engage in academic scholarship.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION- Annual salary $52,710.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
