Math Teacher

Classroom Teacher General Education

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and valid Oklahoma certification in the subject area taught, meeting Oklahoma State Department of Education and federal standards for a qualified teacher. The role involves reading, analyzing, and interpreting written information; writing required reports and correspondence; presenting information orally; working with mathematical concepts; solving practical problems; and interpreting instructions in various forms. The teacher is responsible for employing a variety of instructional techniques to achieve district curriculum and goals, ensuring student mastery through projects, assignments, and assessments, and participating in professional development.

The teacher must maintain accurate records, protect students and facilities, create a conducive learning environment, communicate with parents, and perform assigned duties as needed. Regular attendance of at least 95% is required, and the role involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, and having close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
