- Familiarity with Mahjong as a hobby, as well as Mahjong for serious game play.
- Experience teaching adults preferred.
- Available to teach classes one evening a week for 6 weeks at a Tulsa Tech campus location.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
High School Diploma or equivalent
ShiftEvenings with the flexibility to work at least one evening per weekas scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall semesters.
Salary ScheduleStandard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
