Position: Process Engineer

This position is suitable for a recent graduate with some experience in a chemical manufacturing setting.

We are seeking a motivated early-career Process Engineer to join a high-performing team at a leading chemical manufacturing facility in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and overall plant performance.

The Process Engineer will provide technical expertise across production operations, supporting daily activities, driving process improvements, and contributing to long-term initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify performance gaps, implement engineering solutions, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations is essential.

• Analyze and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Develop and implement corrective actions based on process data and SPC methods.
• Support process design, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct equipment inspections; assist with scheduling maintenance and upgrades.
• Lead and participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
• Support capital projects, including scope definition and startup.
• Train plant personnel in process control and operating procedures.
• Generate reports on process capability, downtime, production volume, and quality metrics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• At least 1 year of process engineering experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis, SPC techniques, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process operations and safety standards.
• Skilled in MS Office, Project, and AutoCAD.
• Salary range: $70,000–$75,000
