Entry Level Medical Screener

Responsibilities

We are seeking a part‑time plasma donor screener to perform phlebotomy and support our plasma center operations.

• Answer phones, greet donors and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. (occasionally up to 32 lbs., rarely up to 50 lbs.).
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Enforced glove wear for 90% of tasks due to blood borne pathogen risk (Level 1).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (helpful).

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00.
