Personal Banker -Kingfisher, OK

Job Type: Full-Time/Hourly

Equity Bank is a full-service community bank exploring opportunities for a Personal Banker in the Retail Banking department located in Kingfisher, OK. The role focuses on building client relationships, delivering superior banking products and services, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Conduct professional client conversations that build and sustain trust and credibility
• Discover key life events to ensure products and services meet financial needs
• Recommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that match clients’ financial needs
• Promote bank products and services within and outside the bank
• Proactively make referrals to bank partners that result in additional revenue
• Demonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure and maintain quality production
• Adhere to operating procedures and protocols
• Deliver a consistently superior client experience, including excellent customer service skills, a welcoming environment, and proactive issue resolution
• Perform teller duties and process client transactions as needed
• Approve transactions within assigned authority limits
• Assist with bank opening and/or closing as directed
• Understand and follow applicable laws and regulations (e.g., BSA, AML, Information Security, NMLS certification)
• Follow deposit account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral requirements
• Complete periodic compliance training

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team‑oriented mindset
• Ability to travel to Wichita, KS during the first week of employment for required week‑long training

• Previous banking experience

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
