Job Description

Occupational Therapist position – a full‑time role supporting clients on site at our Broken Arrow facility. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the direct implementation and collaboration of the assigned patients and will work closely with the behavior analyst to ensure that each patient in the agency receives quality therapeutic care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessment and identify patient needs.
  • Document, prepare, revise, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis.
  • Assess and facilitate the patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, and the need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Facilitate functional mobility, safety issues, and improve ADL performance needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Implement, monitor, collect, and evaluate data.
  • Evaluate the efficacy of the treatment.
  • Demonstrate effective implementation of therapy.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior.
  • Competence with crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate effective training with parents and staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current State License as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting for patients preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism preferred.
