Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Our hospital provides both intensive care and telemetry-level services, offering advanced monitoring and support for patients requiring extended medical care. you'll contribute

A Program Director (PD) who excels in this role:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the rehabilitation program, ensuring exceptional clinical quality, patient outcomes, and organizational performance.
  • You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all program activities to achieve both organizational and client objectives.
  • This role serves as a key leader within the interdisciplinary team, driving program growth, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • The Program Director is accountable for program development, quality and performance initiatives, productivity enhancement, team engagement, and problem-solving while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care delivery.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will possess an active Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) license. Additional requirements include:

  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field, business administration, public relations, human services, or a related discipline.
  • Candidates with a clinical background must maintain an active, unrestricted professional license in accordance with state requirements.
  • Proven leadership and management experience within a healthcare or human services setting.
  • Extensive rehabilitation experience and a strong understanding of clinical operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with geriatric and physically disabled populations preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare technology platforms.
  • Reliable transportation for travel as required.
