Cloud Solution Architect; SAP to AWS​/Azure

Remote with occasional travel to customer locations - EST Time Zone

Optomi, in partnership with our premier client in the IT Services industry, is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to join their team for a full time role! This role focuses on cloud architecture and solution design, operating at the intersection of pre-sales and delivery teams. The position is responsible for defining and designing cloud migration strategies for enterprise customers, with a particular emphasis on SAP deployments on hyperscale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role also contributes to the design of managed services solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-architected SAP environments in the cloud.

• Strong technical and architectural understanding of SAP environments
• Proven experience supporting SAP workloads on AWS and Azure
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure and network architecture
• Hands-on experience with SAP Basis or SAP technical administration is a plus
• Background in hardware sizing, network topology, and solution architecture design
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently without the need for constant guidance
• Confident problem-solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and identify solutions autonomously

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Prior experience in a consulting or customer-facing role
