| About you

As our Programme Director Network & Communications, you will hold responsibilities in two important areas:
People & Programme Directorship.

You will lead a national program strategy and guide our talented team in Digital Enterprise Services. This involves tackling complex service transitions in the tech world, with a dash of collaboration with other tech groups. It s all happening as we shift from old-school tech to a modern digital era, making it a pivotal challenge. Your role also involves championing our team as they adapt to new ways of working, broadening their horizons from specific projects to broader programs, switching from traditional waterfall approaches to agile methods, and managing the shift from capital funding to operational expenses with continuous delivery.

You'll also be making critical decisions about digital technology investments - when, where, and how to invest. Overcoming obstacles and ensuring the right choices at the right time are key aspects. Plus, executing modern delivery methods and breaking down barriers is equally vital. Our goal is to simplify our complex environment by adopting standardised methods and processes. This will free up resources (capital, operational expenses, and our amazing workforce) and speed up delivery.

As a leader, you'll foster a culture of unity and continuous improvement, ensuring our systems and services meet service levels and customer expectations. You'll also play a crucial role in shaping our Data & Digital strategy and represent your domain at our Digital Enterprise Services leadership table.

In terms of our customers, you'll lead program teams to efficiently deliver solutions and communicate changes effectively to meet their needs. We're also working towards nationalising our digital platform investments to ensure fairness across all locations, big or small. In the Service Transition arena, you'll be instrumental in aligning Network & Communications in change programs, equipping teams with the tools and training they need for successful implementation and ongoing support.

The same goes for program delivery in change programs, ensuring everyone s on the same page for successful outcomes.

Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process.
