About the Role

Veeam, following the acquisition of Securiti AI, is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical leadership in our sales team focused on the Securiti AI portfolio. In this role you will guide customers from needs assessment through solution design, delivering demos and proof‑of‑concepts that showcase value. You will speak at the executive level about the transition from “secure our data” to “enable safe, compliant AI at scale.”

What

You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary technical data protection expert for Securiti AI and Veeam solutions throughout the pre‑sales cycle.
  • Lead discovery to translate risk, architecture, and business goals into a practical solution approach.
  • Design and deliver tailored demos and hands‑on proof‑of‑concepts that prove value in the customer’s environment.
  • Drive technical conversations on AI Trust, Data Discovery, DSPM, Data Access & Governance, and Compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
  • Provide solution guidance across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cloud security best practices and identity/access concepts.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with sales, product, engineering, and customer success for seamless handoffs and customer confidence.
  • Hone professional development through experimentation, collaboration, onboarding, and more.
  • Work ~80% remote; client‑facing travel typically 1‑2 short trips per month.
What You’ll Bring (Required)
  • Extensive enterprise sales experience in data protection, cloud security, networks, and AI.
  • Proof of ability to build trust with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong technical leadership experience in enterprise data protection, cloud security, and AI.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP (multi‑cloud exposure strongly valued).
  • Deep knowledge of data privacy/security and compliance programs (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS), data governance, and access controls.
  • Experience building and running compelling demos and POCs, earning trust as a technical lead.
  • Fluency in Linux, Kubernetes/containerized environments, and modern cloud/data architectures.
  • Expertise with DSPM, DLP, data discovery, and cloud data systems (object storage, enterprise databases/warehouses).
  • Experience with GenAI security, RAG concepts, and vector databases/indexing.
  • Exposure to CASB, SASE, DLP technologies and how customers operationalize them.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.

Compensation Transparency

We are committed to pay transparency. The compensation range reflects the total target compensation (TTC) inclusive of base pay and performance‑based bonus. Offers are typically below the midpoint of the range.

U.S. Geographic Zones & Compensation Ranges (TTC / OTE)

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs – $252,500 - $468,800

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) – $231,500 - $429,800

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs);
Sales roles in Georgia, Ohio, Arizona – $210,400 - $390,700

Zone 4: All other U.S. locations – $183,000 - $339,900
