Job Overview
The Workday Financials production support consultant will be a part of our Application Management Services (AMS) team and provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of clients’ Workday Financials system. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical expertise in Workday Financials, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day production support for Workday Financials modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Fixed Assets).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, defects, and user-reported incidents within defined SLAs.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity across financial processes.
- Analyze business requirements and implement configuration changes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand issues and provide effective solutions.
- Manage and support integrations between Workday and external systems.
- Perform impact analysis for system updates, releases, and patches.
- Participate in Workday releases (bi-annual) including testing, validation, and deployment.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with financial controls and policies.
- Provide end-user support, training and knowledge transfer as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Financials.
- Strong functional knowledge of core financial modules.
- Experience in production support or application support environments.
- Familiarity with Workday business process frameworks and security.
- Experience with Workday reporting (e.g., standard reports, custom reports, dashboards).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
At Impact Advisors, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of $95,000-$173,000. For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
