Information Systems Security Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support Air Force systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of Air Force information systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance and implement cybersecurity best practices.
ResponsibilitiesLead the assessment, documentation, and mitigation of security risks and vulnerabilities across Air Force and DoD systems. Maintain compliance with NIST RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies, conduct security reviews, and provide guidance to teams on best practices for protecting sensitive information.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in information systems security or cybersecurity.
- Experience supporting and securing Air Force or DoD systems.
- Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Ability to assess, document, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
- DoD 8570.01 M-IAT II certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or GSEC.
- Experience with cloud security and emerging technologies.
- Experience with classified environments and secure facility operations.
- Leadership or team management experience.
- Knowledge of Air Force-specific cybersecurity requirements and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CAP.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and experience, with a projected compensation range of $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). The range represents a typical salary for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package, which includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for the benefit programs.
