Job Description
As a Sr. Project Manager with OMES you will enjoy generous leave, including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave, and 11 paid holidays annually.

Full‑time 40‑hour work weeks.
Salary based on education and experience.
Support the Information Services Division of OMES dedicated to Service Oklahoma.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct all PMO operations and activities of the assigned management information services program.
- Monitor progress of program activities, including cost, schedule performance, cost recovery, staffing needs, and overall performance analytics.
- Recruit, develop, evaluate, and manage staff for the assignment service program area.
- Conduct performance analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and recommend corrective actions for programs and staff.
- Invent new ways to define and measure program effectiveness and organizational productivity through process analysis and improvement.
- Perform problem solving and root cause analysis and present recommendations at project, program, and leadership levels.
- Act as the PMO subject‑matter expert for multiple functional areas, providing information sharing and training.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of risk management and program governance.
- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and collaborate to earn trust at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Show willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done within teams.
- Operate as an independent thinker capable of working within ambiguously defined structures with a bias for delivering tangible results.
- Maintain high attention to detail, precise customer communications, and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Navigate ambiguous situations, identify blockers, and influence stakeholders with minimal guidance.
- Build cross‑organizational partnerships.
- Lead delivery of technology platforms in a hyper‑growth environment, aligning with monthly, quarterly, and annual roadmap objectives.
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the work day. The noise level is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum QualificationsEight years of experience in an information technology field, six of which must be in an Agile supervisory, team lead, or program management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (substituting 12 semester hours in computer science or management information systems coursework for each year of required experience, excluding the required supervisory, lead, and/or program management experience).
Preferred Credentials- PMP or PgMP certification
- Agile certification
- Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Knowledge of Management Information Services.
- Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge terminology and guidelines for project and program management.
- Knowledge of program performance analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and ITIL methodologies.
- Knowledge of organizational people management and change management.
- Leadership and team‑building skills.
- Communication skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Ability to sell program value consistently.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and manage expectations.
- Ability to develop and plan overall program and monitor progress.
- Ability to perform integration, scope, time, cost, quality, risk, communications, and stakeholder management.
