* Position Summary
* The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) ensures the successful implementation and training of hardware and software systems provided by Primary Systems. This role involves interfacing with customer staff, internal teams such as IT, Field technicians, Project management personnel, and other vendor representatives to coordinate and relay technical information based on user needs. The CAS follows a four-step approach: conducting a needs analysis, configuring the systems to customer specifications, providing end-user training, and supporting system go-live.
Additionally, the CAS supports sales personnel in defining project needs, customer requirements, and providing application support throughout the sales process. Ensuring adherence to company policies & procedures and configuring systems according to manufacturer recommendations and project specifications are key responsibilities.
* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* * Collaborate with the Sales Department to assess customer needs and expectations.
* Meet with executive leadership to understand facility needs and offer guidance to best practices within the industry.
* Review system installation configurations and confirm facility layouts.
* Manage phases of work through collaborative efforts with project management team
* Train customers on systems functionality.
* Arrange and confirm training sessions, including location, times, and equipment needs.
* Provide customer/ end user support for go-live.
* Work with service and installation technicians to ensure proper system configuration.
* Provide customer support and refer technical queries to appropriate staff.
* Maintain a positive company image in the community.
* Respond promptly to internal and external customer queries.
* Coordinate with company resources to assist customers as needed.
* Document workflow requests, configuration decisions and training needs for design and configuration of hardware and software.
* Produce and assemble customized training materials.
* Schedule testing in coordination with the IT and tech team.
* Maintain records of hours provided against job allocations.
* Assist the billing process by coordinating installation completion forms with accounting.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Job Qualifications and Requirements:
* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong programming and configuration skills.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
* Experience in developing and preparing custom presentations.
* Proficiency with GUI operating systems and Microsoft applications.
* Flexible schedule based on customer needs.
* Ability to adapt training based on customer input.
* Ability to manage customer experience and guide best practices.
* Ability to create tests or other methods to ensure knowledge retention.
* Experience with onsite implementations and training on technical services.
* Education & Experience:
* * Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
* 2-4 years of experience with electronic equipment or computer systems (training or service/installation).
* 1-2 years of classroom training experience.
* Experience in healthcare facility operations and EMR development is a plus.
