Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax/Transactional Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advising clients on a broad spectrum of tax and legal matters related to tax planning, tax audits/assessments, tax return preparation, transactional work, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help facilitate complex negotiations, draft critical legal documents, and ensure adherence to applicable laws across diverse practice areas.

Duties
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on tax planning and transactional matters to clients across various industries.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Advise clients on tax laws/regulations and issues impacting their transactions.
  • Assist with litigation related to tax controversy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for complex legal challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all legal research, drafting activities, and administrative documentation within the law office environment.
Experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in tax and transactional law.
  • Familiarity with estate planning and immigration law is highly desirable.
  • Strong research skills utilizing Lexis Nexis and Westlaw platforms to gather pertinent legal information efficiently.
  • Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting and comprehensive memoranda.
  • Prior tax related legal experience of at least five (5) years is required.
  • Ability to analyze multifaceted legal issues across multiple practice areas while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $75,000.00 - $ per year
