Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation specializing in the repair of air data probes and aircraft accessories is seeking an Associate Operations Manager.
In this role, the Associate Operations Manager will plan and establish operational objectives for their team; lead, direct and review the work of direct reports to maintain workflow and productivity; and ensure weekly, monthly and/or annual objectives are achieved. Strong communication skills are required in order to work with parties inside and outside of the department to explain and interpret policies and procedures, and to make improvements to processes.
This position requires practical knowledge in leading/managing projects, processes, and employees and it requires a strong knowledge in manufacturing principles.
- Manage operational essential site goals. This includes activities such as:
Safety adherence, Key performance indicators - OTD/Labor overages/COPQ initiatives, scheduling, task delegation, timesheet approvals, and Annual reviews, Career development, and Manpower analysis and staffing. - Support manufacturing efficiency targets and on-time delivery goals through personnel accountability, training, planning and improvement efforts.
- Coordinate and collaborate with all aspects of the business including Quality, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and Human Resources.
- Ensure that adequate resources (people, equipment and facilities) are available to handle both the current and future workload.
- Responsible for enforcing company policies of conduct and safety while initiating disciplinary action when necessary.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with site departments to bridge communication between upper management and their team, relay important information, communicating policy or procedural changes.
- Responsible for effectively communicating executive management, needs, concerns and solutions for production issues.
- Responsible for the overall talent management of the production department including interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Support manufacturing efficiency targets and on-time delivery goals through personnel accountability, training, planning and improvement efforts.
- Support & Drive Safety:
Identify, report, and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Work with your teams to implement safety improvements and drive a culture that promotes a safe environment.
