Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Foster a work environment and culture that empowers the hospital and staff to fulfill the Encompass Health mission and surpass objectives.
  • Oversee hospital operations, continuously assess and enhance performance.
  • Manage patient census and actively market services within the community.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • Motivate and celebrate the achievements of your team.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience covering operational oversight, budgeting, marketing, FTE management, expense control, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Five years of management experience in healthcare, with at least 2–3 years in a senior management position.
  • Work may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights, and scheduled holidays.
