The Clinic Director (CD) is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the clinic, managing staff performance, hiring and recruiting clinical staff, providing training and development support, meeting fiscal goals, developing relationships with referral partners, and providing ongoing administrative and clinical oversight.
Responsibilities- Hire, train, and manage clinic staff.
- Lead staff performance, performance coaching, improvement plans, and termination processes.
- Provide training for new hires and ongoing development.
- Supervise and consult with therapy staff, including participation in peer consult groups.
- Provide clinical oversight and sign documentation for pre‑licensed providers.
- Oversee clinic administration: staffing, scheduling, supplies, and fiscal efficiency.
- Respond to client, clinician, and stakeholder concerns.
- Serve as point of contact for building management related issues.
- Drive community outreach, marketing, and network engagement.
- Collaborate with franchise owner and corporate team to implement policies and improve client care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree or higher education in a mental health discipline.
- Independently licensed with a state‑issued clinical practice license (e.g., LSCW, LMFT, LPC).
- 3+ years of mental health counseling experience (required).
- 1+ year of management experience (required).
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and executive skill sets.
- Ability to provide license supervision (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Working knowledge of state mental health regulations.
- Working understanding of HR principles and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams) and familiar with Electronic Health Record systems.
