What You’ll DoAs Body Shop Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our collision repair facility, including:
- Lead and develop technicians, estimators, painters, parts personnel, and support staff.
- Manage daily production to keep repairs moving efficiently while meeting quality and delivery goals.
- Maintain high standards for repair quality, safety, and OEM repair procedures.
- Improve shop workflow, identify production bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Oversee estimating, blueprinting, supplements, and repair planning to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate parts operations to ensure timely vehicle flow.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the repair process.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Several years of collision repair management experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair operations, estimating, production management, and quality control.
- Experience improving shop processes and increasing operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to coach, mentor, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong understanding of OEM repair procedures and insurance repair processes.
- A commitment to safe, quality repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction.
