Type: 6 Months Contact Pay: $25/hr.
- $27/hr w-2
Summary:
Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various machines and tools. Ensures products meet specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate fabrication machines such as drill presses, grinders, and mills
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Read and interpret basic drawings and specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
- Perform troubleshooting on equipment and fabrication issues
- Assemble parts into completed units
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–5+ years of related experience (depending on level)
- Experience with fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift upto to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, lifting, and manual work
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
