Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer Project Manager
Location: Broken Arrow, OK, US

Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer Project Manager to join our team. Engineer Project Manager

Position Overview

Evaluates facilities and production processes and makes recommendations to maintain or improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs under minimal supervision.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with ME teams at Broken Arrow and Okmulgee as needed for project work.
  • Update ME managers on roadblocks and timelines for resource dedication.
  • Prepare and present PCP presentations for ME group projects.
  • Prepare budgetary numbers, manage and track execution of Capex expenditures with the Capex coordinator related to projects. Report these details to the ME Manager.
  • Coordinate and update the ME Manager on project status and timelines.
  • Prioritize work and resources needed from ME groups of BA and OKM related to project timelines.
  • Track ME hours related to each project and report to project manager.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills.
  • Employ organizational skills for tracking and reporting of project statuses.
  • Prepare and implement complex layouts and studies of plant and facility arrangements and manufacturing operations.
  • Provide direction on time and work sequence studies, review and recommend adjustments to manufacturing operations.
  • Review plant layouts and organization to maximize throughput.
  • Develop procedures and plant arrangements to ensure proper material handling and storage.
  • Review engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Determine manufacturing processes.
  • Determine and develop standard operation times, conduct various cost studies.
  • Prepare and implement capital budget items.
  • Design and implement shop tooling and fixtures.
  • Create step‑by‑step work instructions for product build.
  • Design tooling required for assembly of production units.
  • May direct activities of a small group of employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Manufacturing Engineer Project Manager Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience as a manufacturing engineer in a machine shop environment.
  • Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes, gearing, NC programming (preferably Esprit CAM System), and tool design using a CAD‑based system.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
  • PMP training required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must regularly sit, use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, bend, squat and grasp parts. Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and be mobile around heavy machinery, forklifts, and loud noise. Physical demands include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
