The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Master Scheduler (MS) will provide daily planning and guidance to the HMC value stream consistent with the established schedule to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedule.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide daily short/long term planning of engines and modules.
  • Utilize SAP, program databases, and Microsoft office tools to plan inductions, control shop work-in-process (WIP) levels, and plan production sells.
  • Monitor gated metrics and communicate impacts to the schedule.
  • Update production status boards and slides to reflect current status.
  • Facilitate communication between operations, materials, and quality at the shop-floor level to ensure priorities are clear.
  • Participate in daily production meetings as required to communicate schedule requirements.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement system.
  • Develop and utilize robust standard work and desktop procedures for HMC MS processes.
  • Perform any other related functions or support other MRO production lines as required by management to ensure the success of the enterprise.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university with minimum 5+ years of experience OR advanced degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university with minimum 3+ years of experience. Experience to include proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to work 1st shift ), as well as extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks; may be called in off-hours to answer job-related questions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who do not possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
  • Operational experience in an MRO engine facility.
  • Process or manufacturing experience on gas-turbine engines.
