Summary: We are seeking a Coating Technician to support Special Technologies Coating (STC) operations in Oklahoma City. This role supports plasma coating and water jet operations while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a light industrial manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do
  • Produce high-quality products according to documented specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures
  • Operate specialized manufacturing and coating equipment throughout the production process
  • Perform quality inspections and measurements to minimize defects and ensure product integrity
  • Use ERP and production systems including SAP, Solumina, and Microsoft Office
  • Safely operate manual and powered industrial tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for tooling, products, and equipment
  • Perform basic to intermediate maintenance and preventive maintenance on water jet stripping equipment
  • Follow production schedules and support daily output targets
  • Track and report production performance metrics
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and product quality
  • Maintain compliance with work instructions, technical documentation, EHS requirements, and 6S standards
  • Support various assignments as needed in a fast-paced production environment
  • Work overtime and flexible shift assignments when required
  • Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
Qualifications You Must Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship required due to program/contract requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational environment such as aerospace, warehousing, or industrial manufacturing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Employees must remain in the role for 12 months after clearance award and program approval before applying to other internal positions
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Associate degree and/or military experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with coating application processes and techniques
  • Experience performing maintenance tasks such as: filter replacement, line tightening/replacement, seal replacement, accumulator rebuilding
  • 2+ years operating technical or industrial machinery
  • Experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
