What You Will Do
  • Perform technical tasks under the direction of an engineer or manager.
  • Prepare detailed estimates of quantities and costs of materials and labor required.
  • Interact regularly with customers and co‑workers.
  • Maintain records for company and customer.
  • Follow all safety policies and company‑wide safety requirements.
  • Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • This safety‑sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
  • One year experience with the following:
  • Performing mechanical assembly work.
  • Operating a manual lathe/mill.
  • Welding (MIG and stick).
  • Single and three‑phase electrical work.
  • Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools, overhead crane.
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required.

  • Potential travel: up to 20% domestically.
  • Medium work:

  • May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, climb.
  • Requires visual and hearing acuity.
  • Activities occur indoors and outdoors.
  • Extreme heat:
    Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
  • Hazards:
    Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
  • Atmospheric conditions:
    One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
  • Oils: potential air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
