Location and Schedule
Heavener, OK – Refrigeration Supervisor 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 11 pm.
SummaryOversees maintenance and repairs of ammonia refrigeration systems, supervises refrigeration employees, and ensures plant temperature and USDA compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and upkeep all cooling and air handling machinery.
- Maintain accurate records and a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for equipment.
- Train and supervise employees.
- Consistently maintain critical temperature requirements throughout facilities.
- Enforce safety rules and government regulations regarding ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
- Drive a vehicle for company business purposes.
- Submit to and pass a background investigation.
- Position is safety‑sensitive.
Directly supervise 6–8 employees in the refrigeration department, performing hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
QualificationsEducation and Experience: Five years of ammonia refrigeration experience and Process Safety Management experience; electrical experience preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Skills:
Ability to read, interpret and write technical documents and reports; ability to speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures, percentages, area, and volume.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions; interpret technical instructions.
Computer
Skills:
Knowledge of human resource systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
Frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting of up to 75 lb. Requires clear vision and sound ability.
Work EnvironmentExposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high locations, fumes, electrical shock, explosives, vibration, toxic chemicals, extreme cold/heat, and loud noise.
