Supervisor Maintenance

Carpenter Technology Corporation is an integrated mill manufacturing high quality premium and ultra-premium forged bar and billet products from melt to ship, and we are seeking a Supervisor Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations.

• Provide maintenance employees with guidance, direction, and supervision in support of departmental operations.
• Promptly address performance issues.
• Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially those related to safety plans and results.
• Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain well‑organized and productive work areas.
• Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

• High school diploma required; two‑year college degree preferred.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
• Practical understanding of industrial/maintenance principles, standards, methods, and practices.
• Knowledge of disciplined problem‑solving methods and positive employee relations practices.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and sets high expectations for performance.
• Innovative problem‑solving skills, including motivation to discover “Win‑Win” outcomes whenever possible.
• Good business judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Direct, candid, and mature interpersonal skills.
